The Advanced Networks Research Lab at UT Dallas
conducts research related to the design and evaluation of
architectures and protocols for next-generation telecommunications
networks. Current research work focuses on (1) survivable
multi-domain optical networks, (2) impairment-aware optical
networking, (3) optical multicast, and (4) resource management
for optical Grids.
